About the Bibliophile

Hello there! I'm Emily, your blue-eyed bibliophile. I'm currently in my 16th year of life and heading into my 3rd year in high school. I'm going to be frank with you and say that I have more books than friends, but that doesn't bother me any. If I have free time, I will definitely be using it to read no matter if it's an hour or a minute. I always have a book clutched in my hand at the ready. I love buying books, holding books, stroking books, smelling books...you get the idea.

I'm super, extremely, very shy and introverted, so if you ever see me in real life and I don't look at or talk to you, don't be offended; I do that to most people. There are a few people I feel very comfortable around and when I do, I could talk for hours. But since I tend to be on the extreme quiet side, yet I like to talk about books but I usually don't have someone to talk to, I thought blogging about it would be nice:)

Also, something you should know..I'm a bit of a, well...fangirl. I'd love to say that I'm not the really crazy kind who only talks about my fandoms and my life revolves around my fandoms and I freak out about my fandoms, but....
The (many) fandoms that I'm in include: Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Star Trek, Downton Abbey, Divergent, TMI and TID, The Hunger Games, Supernatural...I'm sure there are more but I just can't think of them all. Doctor Who is probably my main fandom at this point (Eleven and Amy Pond are the best), along with Harry Potter (of course).

When it comes to reading, I'm not as picky as I used to be. I mainly read YA, and occasionally I move out of my comfort zone.
My favorite books are: Harry Potter (series), Divergent (series), The Outsiders, Nothing, Speak, The Hobbit, The Perks of Being a Wallflower

So! That is me. I hope you decide to stick around!!

Emily

  5. Hey Emily! I am not really a book reader, I never even finished a whole book but I love looking at the book cover ( yeah I know, call me judgmental) that's why your photos caught my eyes on instagram. I have book-lover friends and I'm definitely telling them about your blog. So keep up the good work and stay amazing cuz I'll still stick on this blog
